Other wires for
specialised applications

In addition to stainless steel, galvanised and baling wires, ACCENT also supplies a wide range of other wire types. These wires are used in sectors such as construction, automotive, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and recycling. Each type has its own properties and applications. Below is an overview of our range:

  • Bright wire

  • Cold heading wire

  • Welding wire

  • Spring steel wire

  • Copper-coated wire

  • Zinc-aluminium wire

Bright wire

Bright wire is untreated steel wire and often serves as the basis for further processing, such as galvanising, coating or forming. The material is widely used in the construction and metal industry. Thanks to its clean surface finish, bright wire is ideal when an additional treatment step is required, for example in construction or finishing.

Cold heading wire

Cold heading wire is produced with high dimensional accuracy and homogeneity, making it perfectly suited for cold heading and forming processes. The wire retains its strength during processing and is widely used in the fastener industry, for example in the production of bolts, nuts or shafts.

Welding wire

Welding wire is specially developed for reliable connections in MIG/MAG and arc welding processes. Depending on the alloy, it is suitable for steel structures, automotive parts or mechanical engineering. Thanks to consistent quality and smooth feeding, welding wire ensures strong, durable welds without interruptions in the welding process.

Spring steel wire

Spring steel wire is characterised by high tensile strength and elasticity. It is used in the production of springs and spring mechanisms for sectors such as automotive, industry and electrical engineering. Thanks to its resilience, the material remains reliable over long periods under varying loads and deformation.

Copper-coated wire

Copper-coated wire is steel with a thin copper layer. This coating improves electrical conductivity and provides extra protection against corrosion. The wire is often used in welding technology, electrical engineering and applications where both conductivity and durability are important.

Zinc-aluminium wire

Zinc-aluminium wire combines the anti-corrosion properties of zinc with the extra durability of aluminium. This makes it particularly suitable for outdoor applications and humid environments. Typical applications include fencing, cables, mesh and structural components that must withstand weather conditions for extended periods.
