Accent Select Dual Tying System

Wire and plastic in one integrated baling system

The Accent Select Dual Tying System combines a wire-tying head and a plastic-tying head on the same frame. Operators can select the required tying material through a touchscreen, allowing the system to switch between wire and plastic without a mechanical changeover.

This integrated approach is designed for operations that process different material streams and do not want separate tying machines for each application. It saves floor space and can support a cleaner working environment by combining waste-to-energy and recyclable baling applications in one system.

Switch tying material from the touchscreen

Wire or plastic is selected directly through the touchscreen. Because both tying heads are already installed on the same frame, the operator does not need to stop and mechanically convert the machine between the two materials.

The result is zero changeover time between the wire and plastic tying functions. This reduces manual intervention and allows the baling process to move from one application to another more efficiently.

Designed for double-ram balers

The Accent Select is designed for double-ram balers and is engineered for demanding baling applications. It can also be retrofitted to replace an existing wire or plastic tying system, subject to the baler configuration and installation requirements.

For retrofit projects, the existing baler and tying setup need to be assessed before installation. This confirms how the new frame will integrate with the machine and what changes, if any, are required.

One system for different material streams

The dual-tying concept is particularly relevant where one operation handles both recyclable materials and waste-to-energy materials. Wire can be selected for a material stream where steel tying is required, while plastic can be selected for another stream without installing a second standalone system.
