The Accent 470 Wire Tier is a hydraulically operated automatic wire tier designed for double-ram balers. It combines a rugged four-wheel drive design with fixed factory settings and an accessible maintenance layout, helping reduce the time operators and maintenance teams spend adjusting or servicing the machine.

The system is assembled on a custom-designed EZ Mount frame and is compatible with 12-gauge high-tensile galvanised wire. The track assembly guides the wire around the bale, while a debris guard helps reduce excessive buildup in the lower track and the risk of overfeeds.

No mechanical, hydraulic or electrical adjustments

One of the defining features of the Accent 470 is that no mechanical, hydraulic or electrical adjustments are required. Settings are fixed and locked at the factory to provide the intended operating position and hydraulic pressure.

This removes routine adjustment from normal operation and helps maintain a consistent setup. For high-volume baling environments, reducing the need for repeated fine-tuning can simplify both operation and maintenance.

Designed for easier maintenance

The Accent 470 uses an open design concept so components can be accessed for cleaning, inspection and replacement. This makes it easier to detect when wear parts are approaching the end of their useful life and reduces the amount of disassembly needed for routine work.

A swing-up knotter cover and pivot-out or removable parts cartridge provide direct access to the internal components. If required, the complete knotter assembly can be dismantled in under one hour. The main housing remains in position while the internal components are removed using pull pins.

The parts cartridge is designed to reduce maintenance tasks that can otherwise take hours to a process that can be completed in minutes.

Reliable wire guidance

The track assembly guides wire around the bale during the tying cycle. The lower track is protected by a debris guard that helps prevent excessive buildup and reduces overfeeds. Together with the four-wheel drive design, these features support reliable wire movement through demanding baling conditions.

The system is designed specifically around 12-gauge high-tensile galvanised wire, providing a clear wire specification for customers operating the machine.
