These businesses have built specialist knowledge in different parts of the market, from industrial and baling wire to recycling applications, plastic tying products and bale tying equipment.
Today, that expertise is being combined under one European Accent organisation.

Steel baling products
Accent supplies steel wire products for both automatic and manual baling applications.

Plastic baling products

Each format serves a different purpose, so product selection starts with the baler, tying method and performance required from the finished bale.
PlasLOC+
PlasLOC+ is Accent’s high-performance plastic baling wire, made from recycled PET and engineered with Accent’s patented technology to match or exceed the performance of steel baling wire.
In suitable applications and commercial setups, PlasLOC+ can offer 10%+ potential wire savings and an up to 90% lower CO₂ footprint compared with steel wire on a material basis.
It can also reduce the amount of steel entering downstream recycling processes, while providing cleaner handling without sharp steel ends or oil and grease.
PlasLOC+ is not a universal drop-in replacement. Suitability depends on factors such as bale density, material stream, baler configuration, tying system, OEM requirements and downstream processing.

Industrial wire
Alongside our baling portfolio, Accent supplies galvanised and stainless steel wire for industrial applications.
Products are available in different diameters, specifications and delivery formats for applications in sectors including manufacturing and construction.
The correct specification depends on factors such as tensile strength, surface finish, tolerances, processing requirements and the equipment in which the wire is used.
Products matched to your process
We do not treat wire or baling products as interchangeable commodities.
A specification that performs well in one application may not be suitable for another. The material being processed, the machine, the finished bale, production conditions and subsequent handling all influence the requirements placed on the product.
For industrial wire, we consider properties such as diameter, tensile strength, surface treatment, tolerances, coil format and processability.
For baling applications, we look at the baler, bale size and density, tying method, number of ties, material behaviour and downstream requirements.
This application-led approach helps identify a product that works within the complete process rather than selecting on price or specification alone.
Manufacturing, stock and supply across Europe
Reliable supply is as important as the product itself.
Accent Europe combines manufacturing, processing, warehousing and logistics capabilities across its European operations in the Netherlands, United Kingdom and Italy.
Frequently used specifications can be supplied from stock, while other products and customised requirements can be produced or sourced through the wider Accent network.
For customers with recurring demand, stockholding and delivery arrangements can be aligned with expected consumption. Product form, packaging and delivery schedules can also be adapted where this supports the customer’s process.
The objective is straightforward: the right product, in the right specification, available when it is needed.
Technical knowledge and direct support
Our teams work directly with customers to understand what the application requires.
That may involve reviewing an existing wire specification, comparing steel and plastic baling products, assessing compatibility with a baler or identifying the correct replacement part for a tying system.
We ask the questions needed to understand the process before recommending a solution. Where a particular product or specification is not suitable, we say so.
For industrial wire, relevant batches are checked against the required specifications, including properties such as diameter, tensile strength and tolerances. Certificates and test documentation can be supplied where required.
For baling products and equipment, the same practical principle applies: the product must work with the machine, material and operating environment in which it is used.
